Syed has extensive experience in various aspects of identifying, evaluating and structuring of the financing transaction as an investment banker, coupled with a rich industry experience of setting up and management of projects in the telecom, airline, infrastructure, and cement textile, and energy, Mutual Funds and Financial sectors.

Mr. Syed has served as Director on the board of Lahore Stock Exchange (Guarantee) Limited and as Chief Executive Officer of Worldcall Telecom Limited. He has been associated with Crosby Asset Management Limited, First Capital Equities Limited, Falcon Finance Limited, Prime Commercial Bank Limited, First Nishat Modaraba and IGI Investment Bank Limited at senior management positions.

Mr. Syed holds an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore.

Ali is a professional with over two decades of extensive experience in project development and financial management of companies in various business sectors including airline, telecom, real estate, financial services, print and electronic media, independent power producers (IPPs), textiles (spinning, weaving, finishing, garments, knitwear), packaging, fertilizers, farm tools and engineering goods, and health care in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Iran. 

Mr. Ali has previously served as Chief Operating Officer with JS Private Equity, Group Director Finance with Worldcall Telecom Limited, Head Corporate Finance at Crosby Pakistan, Financial Controller at Kohinoor Energy Limited and Southern Electric Company Limited and Head of Internal Audit at Nishat Mills Limited. He articled with A. F. Fergusson and Company (Chartered Accountants) and is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Managers, Pakistan.

Bilal completed his Articles from Ernst & Young Pakistan (1998) and is AFC, CFA (level 1), MS (Management), MBA (Marketing). He also holds the designations of FICS, FITM, FICM and FIMM, as well as a PGD in Hospitality Management and Islamic Banking along with certifications in Finance and Human Resource. Mr. Bilal is also a member of MAP, MRP, ULI, ICSC, CFE and AICFA. He has undertaken trainings in Project Management, Risk Management and Agile Management, Code of Corporate Governance, etc.

Mr. Bilal has recently joined the Integrated Equities team as Chief Operating Officer with a special focus on corporate and financial restructuring with special care for legal and taxation matters. Bilal possesses over 20 years of extensive experience in corporate finance, financial, accounting, taxation, legal matters, forensic, projects development and management. He joined First Capital / Worldcall / Pace Group in 1998 and served on various key positions in the Group including Director Corporate, Legal and Tax. Before leaving the Group, Bilal was working as a COO of Pace Group and was responsible for day to day operations of the Real Estate division of First Capital / Pace Group including Business Development and Marketing. He was previously also the CFO of the Pace Group. Bilal played a vital role in the setting up and managing and strategically planning of the Real Estate Division.

Mr. Bilal has worked on various transactions involving feasibility studies, private placements, initial public offerings, strategic agreements, dealing with regulatory authorities, other public sector institutions, issue of debt securities including TFC and Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds, valuation/analysis of companies and restructuring, and his domains of expertise include strategy, planning & execution, and he has a special interest in Intellectual Capital & Knowledge Management.

Mr. Kazmi is a multi-faceted professional recognized for his leadership, people management, problem-solving and negotiation skills, as well as his ability to function effectively on a strategic and tactical level simultaneously. Syed is an avid learner with a never-say-die attitude and a huge appetite for gathering knowledge to further enhance his professional skills. He is partiularly skilled at negotiating with bankers, clients, government agencies, and suppliers.

Umair is an Associate Chartered Accountant with more than 5 years of work experience with KPMG Pakistan and UAE, with a strong expertise in financial analysis and modeling, business valuation, M&A advisory, capital restructuring, due diligence reviews, strategic analysis, risk analysis, product development, and cross-functional team-management.

Mr. Zafar has been involved in a number of corporate finance engagements including feasibilities, valuations, sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis, procedures and contractual compliance review, regulatory compliance review, preparation of transaction documentation. He has further conducted various financial advisory and assurance assignments in non-government sectors as well as others.
